It has been a busy time on the road - trying to find the time to sort photos and edit videos is harder than it seems when squished on inter-city transport (or swatting mosquitos in the hostel all night long). But now we're in Niš (South-eastern Serbia), staying in a tennis club with no food, no public transport services - but plenty of beer and pizza delivery, so we'll have plenty of time to catch up on things!
First up are our favourite photos added to the Germany gallery.
Have a look at them here!
After a few weeks of packing our lives into boxes and what feels like a very long time planning, talking about routes, visas and what to take with us, we have finally hit the road (or train tracks more specifically). Check out the first of our 'monthly' videos here, and the first of our destinations, Germany, here.
We left pretty laden with luggage, carrying way more than we need for the whole journey, but we plan to shed half that amount before we leave Prague, thank God! Walking around like pack mules carrying 3 bags each is an inspiring way to travel very lightly in the future.
For the moment we are hanging in Prague, decompressing from London and doing the last of our planning for our upcoming wedding. Its so nice to spend some time in this beautiful European city with its winding cobblestone streets, and castles and churches rising up just behind our little apartment.
We have a couple of weeks here until friends and family arrive for the celebration, then we'll head off east toward the Balkans.
EMMA & PETE
We're just two Aussie's who met in London, married in Prague and travelled overland back to Australia.
